It doesn't always have to be expensive...

If you are looking to splash out £0000s that's burning a hole in your pocket on a Rolex, Breitling or Omega... Read no further.

If however, like me, you are in the market for something cheap that looks alright, will take some punishment and has decent specs on paper... then this could be for you!

This is a Ruimas. I know nothing about them other than its obviously a Chinese watchmaker and that it cost me £34GBP ($42USD)! Yes £34.

It's 39mm diameter (sweet spot for the style on me). Sapphire crystal (even says so on the face for some reason). 12mm case thickness. And an NH35 automatic movement!!

It is a Flieger style and finished very well with quite a cool date window. It feels solid and wears quite well on my 7" wrist.

This ticks quite a few boxes for a £34 watch! It is on Aliexpress. Their other watches (sold on Amazon) look like utter c☆☆p! But this caught my eye and I would say I'm pleased for quite a low risk purchase.

The Bond NATO didn't come with it (had one spare from WatchGecko) but the 'genuine leather' brown strap (20mm lug width) was distinctively average.

Anyone else seen one of these or picked one up?

Can anyone better the specs and looks vs cost? What is your best bargain purchase? (I'll see if someone says their best bargain was a brand new Tudor BB Pro for £2000... but it is all relative I suppose 😊)

PS) I'm the first person to use #ruimas on WC🤟
