I always do this with significant purchases. The worst is when I watch reviews during the period when I’m waiting for the arrival of the new watch/car/whatever that I ordered. It’s all second guessing. Watching the same reviews after I’ve received the item is always affirming.
Does this more fashionable and probably wealthier person than me affirm my decisions? I think I subconsciously lean this way even though I say I don't give a shit what some rando person on the internet thinks.
I need affirmation of my life choices! 😀
I love when other people are wrong!😀
I too am incredibly vain. Unfortunately, I tend to own less popular models ofpopular brands. YouTube sadly does little for my ego.
I Watch reviews on watches I own and watches I'm interested in. Also watches I have no interest in.

Thank god I`m not the only one! I was almost scared to be truthful 😂
Aren't we an honest bunch!😂
I think the 4% was a misclick
I watch Nico before bed every night
to make sure that I made the right decision.

How true!
I think the Mako II is probably the most talked about watch I own... I can find maybe 1 or 2 reviews on my other watches.
It helps to understand if the review has a similar perspective to yours.
It's also a consumer behavior thing. Positive reviews help us deal with post purchase dissonance
I avoid watching Nico Leonard now because he thinks most watches I own and like are only worth throwing in the bin

No, I don't need validation from any YTer about the choices I make in life.
