Dan Henry 1937

Does anyone have any experience with Dan Henry, tempted by this Dan Henry 1937 Chronograph.

It's a very beautiful watch.  The finishing is strictly okay, but design wise it's pretty much the idealized version of a 1920s Patek chronograph.

Very enjoyable watch.

Thanks JC, do u think they are worth it? I’d have to order it from states and am unable to see one in the flesh.

It's going to depend what you're looking for.

Its a really well done $270 Chrono (particularly if you go for a dial color you typically wouldn't choose), but the finishing and build quality aren't going to stand up to something like your Carrera or Longines.

That said, not everything needs to.  It's a great dress Chrono but perhaps not a everyday one.

Edit: realized I didn't answer directly.  Yes, I think it's worth the price.  Just wanted proper expectations set!

Most of my watches are from a lower price point Seiko and Tissot, even a timex.

I appreciate your comments, given me food for thought.

Cheers JC and Happy New Year to you.

Dan Henry have the styling down to an art. They don’t pretend to be anything more than thet are. That’s what I like about them - great looking inexpensive watches. You can’t go wrong for the money.
