My BCPD w the SW-200 mvmt is running roughly +2/+3 spd, can't really complain about accuracy on mine.
38hr PR is a bit short relative to other watches, but I don't really find mine to be an annoyance. I shuffle through enough watches day to day, week to week that I have to adjust most of my watches when I put them on anyways.
Just my experience, hope it helps!
The bubble popped. It happens.
It all usually starts from passion, where people speak their minds, opinions, and share knowledge. Then they get sponsorships and monetized and play the algorithm e.g. "Rolex in the title""This is sponsored by..." or in other words they turn into a medium for advertisement, therefore no longer speaking their mind, and their opinion.
At some point, there's a hundred channels that make the same content for the same watch. "Here are the specs" "Price is..." "The lume on this is amazing". Any content outside of that could be counter-algorithm, and counter-sponsorship. Creators have to put food on the table at the end of the day.
About effing time started, for me, a fresh take on sharing opinions and just people talking about watches. When the Land Rover sponsorship thing came, it started to feel a bit "staged"? Not to say that there wasn't a plan going in to begin with, but the magic was lost a little.
Sad, because I did enjoy some of their videos and stories, but going out of top is also a great way to go. Hope they still consider making cameos in each others content, because there is an energy there that works!
I don't know if I can put it into words as to why I think it's "ugly".
4:30 date on a date only watch... why?? the entire thing just looks like an MVMT watch.
This AP Code chrono is ~$50k... The font is uninspiring. Ultimately looks like a Tommy Hilfiger watch.
I wouldn't be mad at the Tommy Hilfiger because it's for $50, but for $50,000?!

Is Watchbox an AD? I always thought Watchbox was strictly a pre-owned dealer, I know they had a merge with an AD recently, but I'm not sure on the technicals. I think for the GS9 club, they are really strict on purchasing new from AD.
It does suck though, I can totally understand. I tried joining an Oris Social Club on Facebook, but my application got rejected 😢.
