Why have I been sleeping on the Zenith Defy?

Hive mind, I’ve been interested in a 1970’s watch w/some quirk to it and less than $2k. Lots of options in this space as we know, and for some reason, I wasn’t tracking this Zenith Defy but I’m digging this watch!

For those who know about this genre of pieces, any advice, things to know/avoid, etc?
