My watches sync automatically. It's never a concern.
But no I wouldn't be happy with 3 minutes off. Sometimes I want to know what the time is. For example if a zoom meeting is at 5 I don't want to be late. And I don't want to always be worrying about how much is currently off by or when is the next time I need to fix it.
But as others have said, comfort is really important because if it's not comfy in the store then imagine wearing it non stop for years. 😬
Some people get used to it. Personally I just get more and more annoyed with it. Sold my first watch (Seiko) for this reason.
Well first off all quartz is the better tech. More resistant to shock, more accurate, etc. You shouldn't feel bad for choosing quartz.
Secondly, light weight is gonna probably be more comfy in the long term. It means you don't need to tighten the strap so much.
At the end of the day, if you're buying a watch that you want to love then go for the one you love. Worst case, sell it in the future if it doesn't end up working for you.
