Worth the upgrade?

I recently came across this watch and I really like it. But it's gonna cost like $650 after import fees which is a lot for me. And it's not good enough to be my daily watch (not titanium and no timers) so it would just be a dress watch.

I already have one that is less nice (only cost $125) but it's not terrible. I'd need to spend some time repainting the crappy lume and then it's usable as a dress watch but far from amazing.

And my other option is this one which is even more expensive but has everything I need for daily use (even has a quick micro adjust on the clasp). My only complaint is that it doesn't look as good as the blue one. It's busy and lacks color.

So this one has the least compromises. And maybe the lack of color makes it the most "grown up" of the three?

What do you guys think?

I can't afford lots of watches. (Can't afford any right now actually but I'm planning ahead).

Thanks.

price is subjective, but it got nicer looks than the black one for sure. did you plan to use this citizen as a dresswatch?

Well I don't really have many occasions to do so at the moment. Hopefully will in the future. Maybe then it will make more sense to spend extra cash on that.

I just don't want a big watch collection. I find that the more stuff I have the more I need to worry about it etc. Especially expensive stuff.

Ideally I'd love to be under 2 or 3 watches total. Casual g shock for comfort and sports plus a nice big titanium Citizen for daily wear. And if I go to 3 then I think I'd want a small titanium watch for comfort but I'm not sure.

That orange one looks fantastic.

Good thing I'm limiting myself otherwise I'd want like 100 watches. Lol

I like the blue much better and have had a Citizen Radio Controlled for some time. It’s truly ‘set and forget’ include DST changes. Nice watch if you enjoy the look.

Have you considered the Citizen CA7040-85L or any of the other colour variants? It’s not titanium but is extremely light!
