Digital titanium watches?

I want digital features like Casio but in a titanium case.

The closest this this Citizen but the digital interface is overly complicated.

This G shock is perfect inside but it's in a huge ugly plastic case. And no lugs. So it's out. (Strap adaptors make the watches too long for me to wear.)

The first photo above is a Photoshop combining both of these. Not the prettiest watch but in theory it would be very functional.

Most G shock squares are out because they have no lugs for straps and I need the local time displayed separately from the other modes.

So I need ana-digi or a newer type of digital display.

A titanium version of this would work great but that doesn't exist. And if they make one it will cost 3 grand and still won't have lugs.

On paper this is the closest but I hate that the light button is built into the lugs and only the bracelet is titanium, the rest is painted plastic.

And then the ga2100 series is great inside but again no lugs - even on the incredibly ugly titanium mod kit from AliExpress.

I have this Casio Lineage which is great but has a few limitations that I'd like to upgrade. The stopwatch only does 90 minutes and the lume isn't good enough. I'm thinking I could try to repaint the lume but I'd rather not.

Interesting idea. Maybe pitch it to some Casio modding companies?

Thanks for the idea.

At the moment I can't think of any easily profitable way to do this with the above watches.

The ga2100 is the only one where it's practical to swap the outer case - but Casio made it so there's no space for lugs in the correct place.

I guess designing a new case with the desired lugs in CAD isn't that much of an issue for a skilled CAD guy. Since you can find steel cases for Casios, there are probably already some CAD data for those models out there, that just have to be altered around the lug area.  I could imagine the bigger problem is to find a case manufacturer whose mills can handle titanium. Then again, might be worth a try to just pitch the idea to guys who already dabble in this, they might find the idea worthwhile.

Yeah I guess it's doable somehow.

Maybe I'll send the idea to the guy who makes those cases for the Casio Royale

Excellent idea! A titanium Royale would be an absolute Gimme!

I would love that!
