Citizen diver - SKX homage?

On my way back from some medical tests (mostly non penis related) I came across this beauty of a diver.

Not titanium but was comfy on wrist.

Not sure what the exact model is. But I'm 99% sure it starts with either a number or a letter. You're welcome.

Price was like 600 bucks but it's probably much less directly from Japan. Here in the Middle East everything costs an arm and several donkeys.

That is Citizen Promaster Diver. It should cost about 300$ or even less. And it's not a homage of an SKX as far as I know. The line of Citizen Promaster started in 1985 (not exactly in this design) and SKX started in 1996.

That is the Citizen Promaster Diver BN0150-28E, and I am not sure where you are shopping that it is $600. You can get it from the Citizen website for $300, and much less on other sites. Think I paid $160 for mine. I always thought it was an original design and not a homage.

Citizen recently came out with this style in automatic, my AD has one of every version they made.  It is tempting but I've been resisting the urge to get one.

I'm too lazy/busy for automatics butt I understand the appeal. I just swap watches often and I want them ready to go.

Ah, the famous "Grab-and-Go" move.  I totally get it, for me I plan ahead so it isn't an issue.  My other half is grab-and-go all the way.  Will even grab-and-go an automatic without setting it, crazy!
