Broke a Seiko 5 field. Fell into tile floor while removing it and the plastic crystal cracked badly. The second hand was bent in the process, so repair would not be financially viable.
I am planning on disassembling the movement with my son!

I think replacing the seconds hand is pretty simple. No?

It was an $80 watch that was worth $50 when it broke. I would assume the crystal and hand would cost about that much.

I’m sure there are, but taking apart a watch with my son is worth more to me.
