The Kids Are Alright
Do your kids wear watches? Some of my daughter’s friends cannot read an analogue watch/clock…. But with the likes of Flik Flak, Apple, Fitbit, Baby-G and numerous others - I think they will be ‘watch-literate‘. As long as they have something on their wrist they’ll be fine.

I have that Pac-Man Timex, but without the colorful NATO.
My son has always preferred analog to digital watches. I recently gave him an Alba solar analog watch for his 12th birthday.

It’s good that they wear or get used to wearing them. It doesn’t matter that they’re analogue/digital/smart. Did your son ask for it because he saw you wearing a watch?

He initially wanted an analog watch for his first watch (which was a very inexpensive analog Casio) a couple years ago, even though I had just gotten an Apple Watch. He has always appreciated older technology. He even has a typewriter in his room from 1946. But he showed interest in one of my JDM Seikos with the kanji day, which is why I got him the Alba.
The strap looks great with the Pac-Man colors!

Mine loves his Flik Flak! I was trying to find the Lightning McQueen one, but they stopped making them, and I wasn't able to.

@artman Have to get them started early right?? My daughter play a game where I give her the initials of certain watch brands and she names them… JLC, AP etc
