Screw in crown of my Longines HydroConquest

Hi Guys,

first post and I have just a little side question.

I have my HydroConquest for nearly two years now and I have started noticing an issue with my screw in crown. The crown does not screw in perfectly until the "end". I mean it is necessary to screw it in of course (water resistance etc.) but how far is "far enough"? I noticed that also some dirt (I assume) is located at the screw in point on the case. Can this be already the issue or is there a major one since the crown can be screwed in wrong? I am a little bit afraid that I screwed it in too far sometimes and the crown got broken or something?

Many thanks in advance and have a nice day!'

Many thanks for your quick reply.

Well, as it is always the case, the two year warranty expired only three weeks ago.
So therefore, this option is gone I suppose.

However, my AD has a "free of charge" 22 month inspection which includes cleaning and checking the watch. I guess I redeem this option now.

I am also happy to report that my watch is still keeping good time.
Therefore, I think that nothing happend inside the watch.
