I know it isn't a watch, but it's still a time piece and who can say no to a beautiful sweep with an airplane as the seconds hand? Bought it for $50 on eBay and it's a wonderful addition to the living room. There is a version where the airplane seconds hand blinks just like a real plane, unfortunately those are rare and expensive.

I also picked up one of these at a flea market but unfortunately the movement is shot and it's super hard to find a replacement one

Yes. They are awesome and a perfect piece of decor for people that appreciate timepieces in general. I picked one up on eBay also. It was about $100. It was practically flawless....just needed a little Brasso.

There are quite a few on eBay, fair to excellent conditions. I'm sure you'll be able to spot one that is reasonable.

I was fortunate mine was in excellent condition albeit it had some smudges on the glass. A little scrubbing and Windex helped it come off. I love airplanes, geography and horology, this was a no brainer for me, just had to add a Northwest Airlines 747-400 with it 🙂
