Many of you know where I stand on this topic, but that's irrelevant, what's your view?
What is your ideal dive watch?

I tried to put images into the Poll, but for some reason they don't show up despite them showing as uploaded...so here is what was intended to show next to each choice...
Zodiac Super Sea Wolf Skin โBlueโ Hodinkee Exclusive (ref. ZO9211)
I don't believe it is in stock any more.
I have the black dial variant, and Iโm assuming the blue is also typically only available at military PX shops like the ZO9209 is. Hodinkee has some sort of deal where theyโre able to get a few from time to time to sell to the general public, so it may come back in at some point.
And as much as I love it, itโs over the $1,000 limit I set for myself on watches moving forward, so it was always going to be unfulfilled lust anyway.
Of the list u provided, I've owned a seamaster and a zodiac. My only diver right now though is a seiko. My current ideal diver is a blue fin tuna, sbbn037.
That's why I didn't put Seiko as a choice...foregone conclusion who would win.
So many great Seiko choices...we could run a poll on favorite Seiko divers and not have enough slots for all the different references that could be listed.
Here are a couple of my favorites in the collection (not including my modded FiftyFive Fathoms)...

Don't mind if I do! Surprise, surprise, my favorite dive watch is my Seiko Prospex LX SNR045. It's an awesome example of what Seiko is capable of when they really choose to flex their muscles. I consciously chose this watch over an Omega SMP and Tudor Pelagos, both of which I'd also been heavily considering as my first high end dive watch.

Own three of the four and despite the basic nature of it, still love the Sub. The SMP300 is great, but the bracelet and bezel are not fitting a $2000 watch, never mind one 3X the cost. Zodiac is nice watch, but at MSRP is a horrible value when much better watches exist at 1/2 the cost. I hope one day to get a Blancpain, but I would probably go vintage, likely pre-Biver.

Thatโs the exact model of SSW that Iโve been lusting after for months.
Of the four the SMP, but overall the GSAR.
It's at least actually still an actual dive watch, and not just a men's fashion accessory.

It was a HODINKEE release...

I own a FF so that is where I'm at on the poll. For the record, the Omega is totally fine with me as well.
If we are talking Seamaster I voteโฆ
Seiko, Seiko and Seiko ๐

That's a beauty! Thanks for sharing.

I really like any super-compressor case model over those icons.
