I’ve got the GL1001 and really like it.

I swapped my Citizen Promaster gmt for it and am very happy with the switch. It feels good on and I’ve no complaints so far.

I think that might be able to scratch a very persistent itch I have.

·

the movement by its self is $40.00 USD. a Swiss Ronda

I ordered one today. I don't have a chronograph in my collection and this scratches the itch. I saw the overview on @bravebeaters youtube channel and thought it offered great value and it looks good.

·

Well Ashford just sent an email that they are not in stock and I'll get a refund in 7 to 10 days.

I own the Combat Sub diver and it is a quality watch. After seeing your post I couldn't resist ordering the Chrono blue dial today - $199. It should arrive next week.

My concern was the case size, but I have a 43mm Citizen Promaster GMT titanium diver that fits well (fantastic watch), and the Glycene diver fits much smaller than you would expect given its 42mm dia. So I figured this watch would fit too. I'm sure my son-in-law will enjoy the chrono if it doesn't fit me.

Excellent choice! Congrats!

It truly is an amazing deal for such a well-made watch.

I received my GL1046 yesterday, the burgandy version. I would rather have had the black, but I don't think this looks bad. I immediately put it on a rally strap.
