Start of the honeymoon phase!! First day with the Certina DS PH200
This is the most recent addition to my collection. I wanted a watch that envoked those vintage feels, but was very much a modern watch. I think this ticks the box. I absolute love the dial, and the fauxtina on the bezel with the domed sapphire really hit the vintage notes. I’m not usually a fan of open caseback diver watches but it works with this.
Enjoying the nato strap but have ordered the Certina leather strap - I think that will elevate the look.

I had interests in this watch for some time but was intimidated by the case size & L2L dimensions. I tried on a 43mm Hamilton khaki scuba last week & was surprised by how well my wrist held up to it. Made me second guess my curiosity about this one. I think I’d put it on a mesh bracelet. I’m a sucker for those darn things.
I had my concerns about the size but tried it in before buying, and it sat very nicely on the wrist. I think I’ll be ordering a mesh bracelet down the line, love those too.

At some point I’ll swap it over but for now I’m really enjoying the Milanese.
