Question on the Submariner No Date

Why the Sub No Date has no colour variation like the Sub date and other models?

Don’t get me wrong, i love the sub nd with the plain jane black bezel and brush steel bracelet which has it’s birth right as an iconic dive watch. But can anyone here tell me why don’t rolex release a blue or green sub nd with white gold, yellow gold and everose gold?

i am puzzled by this. Is there anyone that knows the answer to it or is there certain rules that i might not have know about? Thanks in advance

I also guess tradition and also the fact that most people just want the Submariner Date, even if Rolex would only offer the black bezel option for the Sub Date.

I bought a submariner  new in 2014

it’s the one I won’t ever sell,

I was corrected by the snooty Rolex salesman who stated that the Rolex Submariner with no date was called just  the “Rolex submariner”  , the Submariner with date is called the “Submariner with date”
