My Other Watch Is A Patek!
Remember the bumper sticker, “My Other Car Is a Porsche”that people put on their junkers? This is my watch version of it (no, I do not have a Patek).
This was my father’s very inexpensive Chinese watch, a Steinhausen. It is supposed to sound German. It even says “since 1923”, but I doubt that also. These were often sold in magazines catering to the older crowd. Probably worth less than $20, but it was my father’s, who is no longer with us.

It's now priceless.
Once someone asked here about the brand and I made a research. Yes it's is totally chinese and yes it should sound german.
But anyway: love to your father. May god bless him.
Memories and stories makes a watch precious. Not the brand.
