Packing for a holiday and the watch dilemma.

That's it I'm taking a few days leave from work to get some rest in Eilat down south by the Red Sea. That requires careful planning because I don't want to burden myself with too many watches.

Taking with me the GW-M5610U is a no brainer. It's the perfect travel watch and is incredibly comfortable to wear on the combi-bracelet. It's also square and therefore perfect.

But what should I wear if I have to go places or meet people too boorish to recognize the square awesomeness? Pounding to death snotty waiters who refuse service to anyone not wearing a stylish watch is too much like work and I'm supposed to be resting there.

I also don't want to take with me anything anything too flashy or expensive, because there is only so much I can trust my fellow men and the hotel safe. That's pretty much leave the SNA411 due to its ability to morph and adapt with the simple change of a strap. Yep, the brown aged leather and the flashier Milanese will do just fine.

But I'm still wearing the 5610 today, because square.

Cats are also awesome. There isn't anything that can't be improved by the addition of a cat.

There's no need for a movement if you have a cat. The cat is smart, the cat is wise, the cat knows exactly when to wake the stoopid hooman.
