Ah tritium...the joy of having the chance to have some radioactive fun without the danger of turning into a flesh hungry fly, or a hulking green monstrosity.
I always thought that the case back of my Marathon MSAR was the coolest thing ever. None of my other watches has so much information on display (Rolex would probably find a way to print all off this on the dial, but that's for another discussion), and the idea of having there the web site URL is brilliant.
The top line with it's "Watch, Wrist: Dive 30ATM" is so army that I expected to read on the next line "this side toward the wrist" to prevent Pvt. Stupid from strapping it with the dial down.
My MSAR is only 36mm in diameter but you would not think of it as a small watch. Part of the reasons why are the bulk and heft and another part is that Marathon did all they could to maximize the dial area by having a very thin bezel. The white dial contribute to this effect as well and the result is a very compact package that is highly legible.
And legible it is under all conditions. It's easy to make some light fun of the radioactive warning sign because the radiation is barely there, but the tritium tubes are excellent for night conditions as they are just bright enough to see without ruining the eye's night vision.
Something else that I like about my MSAR is how nicely it wears on my wrist and how it manage to be "just right" for me.
I'm a big fan of watches that are interesting because they are either unique, have interesting features, well designed or simply offer a great value for their price.
It's a beautiful watch #marathon and it does fit your wrist really well. This has got me wanting to hunt one of these down to try myself.

Thanks. I remember that when I saw it first in one of the YT video from Marc of Long Island Watches I decided to get it on the spot. Very few watches that I own managed to create this reaction.
What size wrist do you have if you don't mine me asking

6.25-6.5", or more precisely: 16.5cm
Haha. Now I want my watches to say "This Side Toward Wrist" on them just for the gag.

Thanks for the reply.
