Morning coffee with a tsunami
I usually wake up at dawn and watching the sun rise while drinking coffee is one of the small pleasures in life that I enjoy because it gives me the time to wake up and make important decisions, such as which watch shall I wear today.
That got me thinking that with summer ending I will soon be unable to enjoy sitting outside in the sun and that while the ISL-68 is a perfect summer watch, I've been neglecting to wear it this year.
The fact that it's heavy and fat (150gr and 15.5mm respectively) did play a part in avoiding wearing it often, but it's such a nice watch to wear on sunny days and its fully lumed great wave dial is so cool to look at once its dark. It's my only Islander and I quite like it because it's a fun watch to wear and with the upgrade of the female end-links it wears nicely on my wrist.
I'm a big fan of watches that are interesting because they are either unique, have interesting features, well designed or simply offer a great value for their price.
