I shall name you Lucas, Prince of Darkness

Casio should really get a commendation for being consistent. With the G-Shock GM-S5600 they successfully created a display that, baring divine intervention, is dark and dim under all light conditions and hours of the day.

The negative display on my metal G-Shock is legible in most lights and at most angles. I believe I've heard the screens is different on YouTube somewhere. And YouTube is the whole of my belief system 馃檭

Well mine is only legible in a narrow range of light angles, the most effective being direct overhead artificial light. In other words, we were already familiar with desk divers, but now with this G-Shock Casio introduced us to a new concept: Shopping mall warriors.

Who care!

I quiet like this version in silver or gold case. Smaller size than the big g shock version. the negative display is exactly as i imagine very illegible lol i wear my casio to hiking all summer. This casio is like a blingy version of my cheap casio.聽

The GM-S5600 is basically a scaled down version of the basic DW-5600E cladded in metal. The button's functions, screen layout and features are identical and therefore there is no auto illumination.聽

The illumination itself is also nothing to write home about.

I was once a fan of this negative display since I'm older and more logical I stick with positive display. leave the darkness man come into the light.
