A day with the Scratch & Smudge magnet
The GM-S5600-1 is a work of contradiction. Casio managed to downsize a DW-5600, clad it in metal, make it dressy, and it even fixed the annoying recessed adjust button.
And then it gave it one of the most illegible screen possible, combined it with a super polished shinny SS (aka Scratch & Smudge) finish, fitted it with a plain stiff plastic band, and finished by deciding that this is definitively a watch targeted at women.
But I still like it because it's the only true square G-Shock that is the equivalent of a 38mm diameter watch, and because it's tough enough to wear anywhere and dressy enough to wear anytime, and because despite not having the slightest urge to turn into a woman I still believe that it looks good on my wrist.
I'm a big fan of watches that are interesting because they are either unique, have interesting features, well designed or simply offer a great value for their price.
