Honestly, I don't get most luxury brands, as a whole. It's not the price. If someone is willing to pay their prices, by all means, go ahead. It's more about the designs they offer. It seems the higher the price range goes up, the less I'm interested in their collections. Every so often I hop on the Rolex, Tudor, GS, and similar websites to see what's up, and I'm always underwhelmed. It seems they either rely on the same tired models they have for decades, or they go with over-the-top gaudy or ridiculous designs. You'll never catch me wearing something like a gold watch with diamonds or one of those crazy skeletonized monstrosities.

If I had to choose a higher-end watch brand, I'd likely lean more Omega, Oris or maybe Breitling. Even then, it would be limited to which models I'd go for.

This is the one I've been eyeing. I love the colors on the Pluto version!

I'm usually in the $350-$1000 range. I like a lot of microbrands, and those are usually hover around the $300-700 range.

@WreckerGuy Hell yes! That blue is absolutely glowing.

@BeauDylan It's so true, and I really think it's social media that has kicked all of that into high gear. People now have a platform to post every thought and grievance they feel, which is now bleeding over into our daily lives. One unfortunate side-effect is that real issues that should be talked about are now diluted because people are so tired of the constant complaining.

@Achenar Nice! Yeah, I get the James Bond vibe, or maybe a gambler expecting that night's game to turn sour.
