SOTC (Digital Collection)

Recently, I have been making some significant changes to my collection, selling some watches to help out with a down payment for a new home for a family member, and I have also recently added some watches to my digital collection. So, I thought I would post a SOTC for my digital collection, including my analog/digital watches like my Seiko Arnie in the main picture. I will also provide a brief description/discussion/list for each box pictured below. Let's get started. First is my Seiko Arnie SNJ025, perhaps my favorite digital watch in my collection.

Here is the main box for my digital collection, and has many of my favorite vintage and reissue digital watches. In this box are my remaining favorite digital watches and my dress analog/digital watches. Beginning in the top left, we have: Casio Pro Trek PRW2500, Nixon ReRun, Fossil Sport, Yema Rallygraf, Skmei World Time, and Casio AW48HE-1AV Analog/Digital. Starting in the bottom left, we have: Armitron Ridgemont, Citizen Analog/Digital T011 312627 GN-4-S (vintage), Seiko H601-540A Analog/Digital Alarm Chronograph (vintage), Timex Analog/Digital (vintage), Skmei Analog/Digital, and Casio AQ-230A-1DMQ Analog/Digital.

Finally comes my fun box. These are watches I bought for comparisons or just on impulse. Top left we have: $3 AliExpress special, Goodwill Shop Timex find, and four $12-$13 watches for my next comparison; Casio, Timex, Armitron, and Skmei. I will be starting this test later this afternoon. Bottom left we have: Skmei Sport watch and Casio sport watch from my second comparison test, Casio G Shock and Timex Iron Man from my first comparison test, and $3 Alixpress Stealth Fighter Digital Watch. I also have a number of watches that are not working and will be the subjects of my attempts to learn how to work on digital watches. I will be sure to share the results of my endeavors. 馃槀

That Yema is unlike any other watch.聽

Well done, thanks for sharing!

Very impressive digital collection. Inspiring to say the least.聽

Ahhhhh..... I now understand that it was in fact your watch collection that was in the briefcase. 馃槏

Amazing! 聽

Your photos make me miss the old black coated Pulsar ani-digi that I got as a gift from my parents back in the day.

Closest thing that I have to any of yours would be m "Arnie" (H558). 聽 In fact the display is flashing on me right now, which means it needs a new battery...

Take care,

--Mike

ps. 聽You must spend a fortune on batteries! 馃槀

I am looking to add an H558 to my own collection eventually. I like my SNJ025, but I do want an original. 馃槃

Lots of goodness! Love all of the ani-digis.

I hope you find one. 聽The market prices seem to have gone down a bit on them which is a good trend for buyers.

BTW, I tried a "Safarnie" but just could bond with it. 聽It's nothing like the original.

Regards,

Here's my H558 and my (former) Safarnie side by side.

The new one just isn't as wearable. 聽Too big, and too heavy on my (7.5") wrist.

Very interesting collection, the selling and reorganizing is necessary until you get it the way you want it. 聽Very nice, thanks for posting.

Impressing! I鈥檓 not that deep into digital but I do have the 5610 in common 聽with you. I can鈥檛 help laughing at the poor fellows in the last box. They gone through a lot. And you added the info about the content this time馃槈馃憤

That's awesome!

How do you remember how to set them all?

With that Arnie the real Arnie would be so proud of you. You one of the few with the coolest digital collection I ever seen.

Nice collection of digitals! I love seeing watches for the first time!
