I think they look great, I just wish he'd have gone with the Miyota 9015 rather than the NH35.
I’m fine with the NH35, especially if it helps keep the price under $300. I had trouble deciding between the blue and grey one, but ended up ordering the grey one to try something a bit different.

I agree! I would like to see something beyond the Datejust homage with the SARB case for the Miyota 9015 movement.
A lumed date wheel instead of a color matched one would have been killer!

If he did it with a 9015, and under 12mm thick I'd be very tempted. As it stands, I know that the thickness and movement would annoy me, so it's an easy one to skip.

I agree, and I will probably skip this one as well. I was really hoping for something truly different; a chronograph or another style of watch with the hi beat movement, and I didn't even care if it was another diver. Not sure another 40mm Islander diver with an NH movement in it is what my collection needs, as I already have one of the mini turtle homages. Also, the look of the handset and dial for this one look very similar to the HMBT I just got recently. I must admit to being somewhat tempted, but I really think I am going to pass on this one.
When he dropped the shots of these on IG, I knew they would be a huge hit. I picked up the grey ASAP, and apparently so did everyone else since they are almost sold out. 😂

I think these look great...I ordered the brown and the gray to add some new colors to my collection.
Would have liked to see an updated clasp with micro, but still think they look.great.
