New Bulova Devil Diver!

Here is my new Devil Diver! I just picked it up from the post office this morning. Yes, it is on a canvas strap from Barton. It came with a pin and collar bracelet. 馃檮 If you saw my comment about my Spinnaker-LIW Fleuss, you will be aware of my travails with pin and collar bracelets. After half an hour of trying to get it adjusted, I gave up and removed the bracelet. 馃ぃ I'm such a loser!

Pin and collar are the devils spawn. I go straight to the mall kiosk dude with them.

The Devil Diver's a great watch. Hopefully you can get the bracelet sized at some point.

Lovely watch. My husband is seriously considering one of these.聽

I am thinking of ordering one of those bracelet tool kits on Long Island Watch. I have some tools, but not the correct ones for pin and collar. I do like the watch already, although I noticed that the movement does not hack like the Hack. 馃槉

Thank you. I found a great deal on it at ShopHQ, of all places; less than $270. I think they still have the blue and orange version for less than $300, and Jomashop has this version for $399.

There are a few ways to hack it to 聽an exact time source. Somewhat of a PITA but doable.

Yeah, I know it can be reverse hacked, but that is the only way I know of, short of letting it run down completely. I am always a bit hesitant to use reverse hacking for fear of damaging the movement.

I don't reverse hack either. Mine is worn in a rotation with others so it's always stopped when I get to it again. I just go to the NIST site and when the second on the NIST site matches the seconds hand on the watch I give the watch a little shake to get ir started and it usually matches up within a second of NIST time. Then a full wind and synching the minute hand when the second hand hits 12.

Congrats on the new watch - a stunner for sure! I hate pin and collar bracelets as well鈥 even with a decent tool set it鈥檚 better left to frustrate the professionals 馃槀聽

Great choice on the strap!

P.S.: I have the same one, same color. 馃槈

Great looking watch! 聽Those pin/collars can be tamed, with practice. 聽Spread out a tea towel on your bench in case any of the evil little collars try to escape. 聽Good luck!
