Having a beer at a vegan deep dish pizza place.

Watches I saw today:

The gray moonswatch on a random person, "i have four of them." I could see the glee through their hangover. My coworkers mostly were all wearing casios, 2 sub 20 buck ones, 1 g shock. One was wearing something he said was "cheap" but looked nice, something on a bracelet. Another customer wearing a shiny casio, they said to my one coworker, who was wearing the Casio I gave him, "nice watch." The pride I felt because it just shows I have impeccable taste has been the high ive been chasing all day to no avail. I'm going to add personal stylist to my resume.

Watch I want right now: there's this 98 buck timex that has this seemingly amazing fluted bezel. I'd pay under 100 for that, it looks shiny and it would be a riot to wear. Great size too. Hard to tell how easy it would be read based on pics, but could use more contrast. Sold out of course.

I'm glad I didn't go with either of my timex for the #1wc The ironman is pretty good, but it's too sensible looking, it's an amazing choice for a watch you can find anywhere. I would see them all the time when I was a 1 watch person, but even then I liked the looks of the Casio watches better. If I had thought it out better, I would've just shrugged my shoulders and bought a timex when the closest big box store within walking distance stopped carrying casios. I wonder what that version of me is like, probably rich, but blander, saner but not as fun. One hat, a couple of pair of shoes. Sensible. He wouldn't be drinking at a vegan restaurant where batman returns is playing. Might even use that ironman to jog.

Found out the gw-m5610 doesn't keep the split time if one cycles to time and back to chrono mode. I have never needed split mode, but I think it might be useful. Ah well, I barely get the concept of split mode already. (The ironman has a great, intuitive lap mode, which is useful.) Having a timer function is one of things I like in a watch, you can't imagine how my mind was blown when I got my first watch with a countdown timer.

I had a hot dog before I got to this place but it smells great. There's a really big family having dinner here and I can feel the various familial tensions. Someone is going to cry. The they might be giants version of Istanbul is playing while batman returns in on the tvs. The bartender is the sole waiter and server too. I gave them a good tip. May the odds ever be in your favor as the kids say.

Pic is the gw-m5610 helping me keep time as i trek through the Chicago alleys.

As an Italian I find the notion of a vegan pizza offensive.

Somehow vegan and fun are not words that I can see together, but it seems that you had a good time.

Also I'm biased because I'm wearing my GW-M5610U today.

I’m a vegan - damn isn’t vegan pizza disappointing. Whoever can crack making a good one can have a small share of the money I wasted on watches..

I'm from Minnesota and I do as well, we have real cheese here and not much is as joyless as vegan "cheese" I ike the icon. "School Bully" from Ripping Yarns I believe?
