Has anyone ever loved a watch so much they bought another version of that watch? I’m sure there are some people that have, just wondering how prevalent it is. I can’t take this SPB213 off, thinking of getting the black version too to celebrate two years of sobriety.

I’ve seen a collector having both the white dial Panda Daytona as well as the Black dial Daytona. hmmm…but it could be due to monitory value though.

If my AD comes through with one of those there is no way I would say no even if I had one already
Yes, I have. 😂 I still have two more to get. 🤣

I’ve got like three Duros. 😂
We must be mad after all we don't go out and buy a car,and then buy another the same of a different colour ,but anyway here's my bit of madness.
I bet there is more people with two or more Vostoks than people with only one :D
Ok ok that’s what I’m talkin about lol
And then there was one...I just found this great deal on the Coca Cola 1971 T80 and ordered it.
All I need now is the Stranger Things T80! 😂
No, They are not the same watch.... This one has a black dial with a black bezel. That one has a black dial with a blue bezel.....
Don't get me started on Timex MK1's color variants. Or Casio G Shock GA100's....
I have an Omega Aqua Terra (Steel/Grey dial and blue accents) and I could totally see myself getting the Terracotta Red version in the future. But given that I have 4-5 other watches higher up on my wish list, it would take a while for that to happen.
yip the SPB143 and this one too .. didn't bond as much with the white tho
Yep.
I have the SPB143 and recently bought the SPB239.
Time and place for both of them.
Yup, I have an SNK803 & an SNK809, though i’ve recently been contemplating selling all 3 of my field watches & picking up a single Hamilton Khaki Field instead.
I bought the same exact model again of the Casio G-Shock GD-350-1 when the first one was misplaced by my child. I love the display on that model and the appearance of the red stripe across the center of the screen when you activate the backlight.
I've done it twice. And sold one of them both times. There are too many great watches out there for 2 of the same.
@IAMD14 that all black Spring Drive GMT looks very cool. What's the size of that bad boy?
When I bought my OG blue Sumo the black version was available as well. Regret not buying that every time I see the black one on my friend's wrist. 🤤
I have three BB58s and two Hamilton Khakis, so guilty.
I got a Santos Dumont Large in April of this year. A month later I got the Santos de Cartier in Medium. Then today, I just got my large Santos in blue dial and blue bezel.
So yes, if you like the design. Why not? Haha

44mm which sounds huge but lug to lug is 50mm so very wearable. And I kept the black!
Among my watches there are only a few that are singular representatives of their family. You can't have too many Monsters, Turtles, Sumos etc. 😀
Double Vision! 🤪
Quitting smoking is very easy! I have done it many times! 😉😜
Buying two of the same model does not seem like a wise choice to me. Diversify your collection. There is so much out there. Surely, there must be something else you like.
Pretty sure G-Shock's and Seiko's 5s business model is created with a "Collect Them All" mindset.
It might be weird to have just one of those. Or is that just me.
I’ve a bit of a liking for Orient Mako’s gen 1 and USA versions
the gen 2&3 are spoiled by one crown which are small and difficult to grip, the original Mako’s have bigger crowns
On my early collection days I order 2 micro brand by mistake once I got them. I got so disgusted gave them bad boys away glad the one person still wearing it proudly until this day.
I bought three Seiko Samurai's. After purchasing my first Seiko King Samurai, I was really imrpessed by its excellent quality and design that I went ahead and got two more
