MoonSwatch just killed Maurice Lacroix
I was looking a the ML "plastic" watches when they came out and thought maybe it would be a nice pickup for the summer if I could grab it a discount. Then BAM!! Omega x Swatch just kills it with the MoonSwatch at half the price.
I know they're different styles but ML's timing couldn't have been worse

Chances of grabbing the "Moonswatch" at one of the selected stores are pretty slim.
They will,however,be available on the secondary market next week for 4-5x the MSRP.
Swatch loves it when a plan comes together.

It might be hard to get one on Saturday but give it a few weeks and theyll be readily available...hopefully

Yup. I’m going to the store on Saturday but if there’s a long line I’ll leave and just wait. I have no patience for waiting in long lines to buy things or to eat at a restaurant. I can wait
Maurice Lacroix really did time their announcement unfortunately! That being said the new plastic Aikon range and the MoonSwatch range aren't in direct competition as the MoonSwatch is styled after a classic chrono and the Aikon a three hander modern sports watch...the price is really what kills ML's release though
The ML is a pretty hard sell at that price point, regardless of the presence of the MoonSwatch.
I want to see an Aikon Tide watch in person. They are quite fun and definitely higher quality than a Swatch. Price is a bit high, but that is retail. We will see if discounts are to be had.
