Snoopy and More!

Since I’m new here, I just wanted to share my little collection. As you can see, I have a thing for Peanuts (Snoopy in particular) and I have since I was a kid. I don’t know, he has always just made me happy.

A couple watches here that are special to me are:

The first white dial Timex on the second row with Snoopy and Charlie Brown dancing. My last dog was very special to me even though I only had her for a short time. She was 7 when we adopted her and she had severe epilepsy which only worsened and we sadly had to put her to sleep. She wore a Snoopy collar and my wife got me this watch to remember her. I hardly wear it though because it still makes me sad despite the good memories.

The Nomos was an anniversary gift from my wife. I’ve been a Nomos fan for a long time but never got a chance to try one on until I visited The Armoury in NYC and it was just perfect. It’s easily my most worn watch. Also, I highly recommend visiting The Armoury, everyone there is fantastic and treat you well even if you’re just a normal dude like me.

The SUF seems to be a lesser known brand. I see a lot of people say they’d never pay the price of this watch since you can get something much better for the price, and that’s certainly true, but I am a fan of the work of Stepan Sarpaneva and since I can absolutely not afford one of his hand made watches, I got this and I really love it.

Finally, the two vintage Svet watches on the bottom right. I contacted a gentleman who restores and sources vintage Soviet watches for matching watches for my wife and myself for our anniversary and he restored these for us. They’re from the 1950s and I think they’re very charming and fun.

I’ll be getting rid of the Speedmaster soon since I just never wear it, and I also just sold my BB58. Looking to get a small Cartier Tank for my 30th in a few weeks and then I’ll probably take a break for a while!
