Timex Expedition Brown Leather

I bought this watch as my work day wear. I work for a construction company and drive a roll off/box truck. The strap is padded genuine leather with an E itched at the lugs. The buckle is also stamped and easy to secure. It's super comfortable and shows little wearing from construction, weather and sometimes gritty conditions. It has a 100 meter water resistance. I bang the watch from time to time against the truck and I'm surprised that there's no scratches on the crystal. It's light and comfortable. The Arabic numbers are easy to see and there's no reflection against any reflective sun light or the dome in the cab. The the bezel is a fixed diver style which gives the watch some thickness and noticably. I'm a Timex loyalist and have owned the brand since I was 10 years of age. Here are the dimensions case is 40mm. The case height 10mm. It has a mineral glass crystal. The lug to lug is 20mm. Leather strap that's stamped with the expedition logo. Quartz movement, Timex is known for not giving up much information about it's movement.  Depending on where you buy this watch it can cost you as low $41 USD and as high as $47 USD. I chose to get my watch from the Timex website so that I can have the two year warranty. It cost my the extra money and in return I get piece of mind. If anything goes wrong I sent it back and get a repair or a complete replacement. I believe Walmart and Miejer will do the same. Keep in mind shopping at retail stores you get a limited choice. The Timex website gives you so much more to choose from. Adding to more choices you can also get specifications and dimensions of the watch. The dimension I focus on is the lug to lug, personally I don't like a big watch that extends passed my wrist. Timex is a safe choice in that Timex watches don't really get passed 50mm lug to lug.

Great choice mate. I work on the railway in construction as well and the environment isn’t  very good for watches, like your own. So a good solid decision to go with a Timex and one that is easy to recommend 👍

I was a conductor for Norfolk Southern for a short time. The rail repairman and shop folks was always on the go and dirty all the time. Railroad work isn't for the faint of heart. Stay safe and thank you.
