@Scaramanga 's post was life changing (slight exaggeration). NATO straps are my least favorite option, but I now use them much more. I was always put off by the "top knot".
With that taken, I will harken back to the early days of this website when there was a fellow who professed to like Omega. Now he just gives things away, but he used to pop adderall and write 8,000 word essays on watch economics. This is a fantastic read from the recent past when people genuinely believed that watches could be investment vehicles. @HotWatchChick69
It's very niche but the only post I still have starred is @harrisc852 ''s post on drilling standard lug holes in his Cartier Roadster.

I've been obsessed with finding someone to do it on mine since because it helps solve some of the Roadster size/weight issues.
I wish I knew enough about watches or design to come up with an idea like that.
I’ve been finding this by @Uhrologe pretty useful as I’ve been looking for a German brand and haven’t found anything prior to this post.
