I used to own a Nomos or two many years ago. The in house movement and case work were nice enough, and the dial design were low key and understated. This new sample seems deviated from my past experiences with this brand.
For my Nomos, if I recall correctly, the resale values for them were dismal as well.

I have a couple of Nomos so they are great but $3k is a lot of money and opens you up to a lot of watches. No bad choices.
For me, I’d be spending $2200 for a Hamilton Intramatic Chronograph and then have $800 for another watch like a Seiko Alpinist.
That discrepency in shade between the seconds hand and the dial is truly annoying.
