I’m looking for a rare timepiece - a non-chronograph mecaquartz watch. I found the Wolbrook Skindiver pictured above, so I know they do exist, but nothing else is coming up in searches. I know that the mecaquartz movements are a darling of the micro brands, an area I’m woefully undereducated about.
Looking for some recommendations, but as a rule, if it has pushers it’s a chronograph. Thanks.
I think MWC (military watch company) make some - they refer to the movement as "hybrid". Vario sells some (e.g., Eclipse) but they are sold out. Also, just searching for the Seiko VH31 movement will bring up mecaquartz watches.

Thanks, that was very helpful. With all the various ways they refer to the movement (mecaquartz, mechaquartz, hybrid, autoquartz, etc.), it’s no wonder it’s not easy to find.
Sorry, I don’t have anything for you. But if you’re considering the Wolbrook, I say go for it. I just got one a week ago, and I think it’s pretty great.

Thanks for the recommendation; always glad to hear first hand experiences. It’s not really my style, but I’m finding my options may be limited and I will have to branch out and try new styles. The Wolbrook may be that next move.
I believe Dan Henry sell some three hand Mecaquartz watches

The 1975 Skin Diver. I’m liking that.
