I got this watch back in the mid/late 80's when I went to US Army Flight School at FT. Rucker , Alabama. The green dot on the watch is what was called a "Safety Dot", actually required to be worn on our watches. It was to remind you to always be safe in whatever task was at hand. It was a subliminal message because you see the dot every time you look for the time....and you would talk about what it meant when someone would ask you about it. I replaced the band and bezel many years ago. I had to contact Casio to get the parts . The Casio rep said that it was a collectible watch because it was a DW-5400 #240 movement and it had gold lettering and a gold buckle instead of silver. I really wouldn't know. Maybe a Casio historian on here could tell me . I will be getting some Invicta's from my cousin next month. My G-Shocks tell the same time as my brothers Rolex and can do more.

Very cool they you've held on to this for so long. It appears in to be in great shape. I've never seen one like this, either.
