GS does makes watches with a 20mm lug width.

I was really surprised to come across this article today about a release of 4 GS models in October of 2021.

These 4 spring drive models have really appealing case dimensions. 40mm diameter, 12.3 mm thickness, 46.6 mm lug to lug, AND, 20 mm lug width….  I had no idea GS produced models in their heritage line with anything other than 19mm lug widths.  That really opens up strap options, and with a GS you really need options other than what they provide.

I‘m curious, does anyone on here own one of these models?  If so, I’d love to hear what you think about them.  Part of me is considering trading my Skyflake for the SBGA465.

These really do look like great options for a daily driver watch.

I just learned this a while ago too. Some of the High Beat Heritage have 21mm lugs too.

Yeah, Ive seen those too. But other than the new evo 9 cases with the 22mm lug widths, I didn’t know they had any watches with even number lug widths.  Especially not 20mm.

My “exchange brain” is now on overdrive.

I really a Heritage line is next on my purchase list. Even with 19mm lugs, they just work and I can’t look away from GS dials. Why trade the Snowflake?

I have the Skyflake (SBGA407). If I were to get the SBGA465 it wouldn’t make sense for me to keep the 407.  It just would be worn that often.  Plus, I prefer the sportier look of the heritage case over the elegance case, like the more subtle power reserve indicator, the thinner design, and the screw-down crown. In many ways it suits me much better.

The SBGA465 is next on my list. I also have the SPGP015 limited edition which is also a 20mm lug width. It also has a slightly improved bracelet with a taper which always looks better IMHO.
