Bulova Lunar Pilot mk2

We all know the history of the watch so I won't put you to sleep with the detail but...

In the late 1960s, amidst the fervor of the Space Race, Comrade Bulova, a renowned cosmonaut and flight director at Baikonur, embarked on a secretive project codenamed "проект луна."

Tasked with creating a timepiece capable of withstanding the harsh conditions of space and American jingoistic propaganda, aiding cosmonauts in their missions.

Comrade Bulova assembled a team of brilliant engineers and designers.Led by the visionary Dr. Natasha Tolstoyova, the team worked tirelessly, drawing inspiration from the celestial bodies they aimed to explore and Marx's Communist Manifesto.

They envisioned a watch that not only measured time but also encapsulated the essence of the cosmos. After years of relentless innovation and testing, the Bulova Chronograph CCP was born.

Its sleek design mirrored the elegance of the moon's surface, while its cutting-edge technology boasted unprecedented precision and durability.

Unbeknownst to the public, the Chronograph played a crucial role in several historic space missions, silently ticking away as astronauts ventured beyond Earth's bounds, on missions led by legends such as Comrades Komarov and Leonov.

Today, the Bulova Lunar Chronograph remains a testament to Soviet ingenuity and exploration, a symbol of mankind's relentless pursuit of the stars.

It's a massive improvement on the previous version. Build quality, size and as much as I dislike polished surfaces, it actually complements the watch. The bracelet is rubbish.
