Spinnaker Spence - Slim 300m Diver

With the name of the watch that has arrived, I always have to think of the puppet show "Hello Spencer" - but just because the watch is called "Spence".
And as I'm sure some of you know, I also have a very big heart for budget watches / micro brands.
In the Budget range I think - you can "let off steam" and try out colors / designs that I would probably not get for a significantly more expensive watch or would like to test first "cheaper" before I do that.
This applies to the Spence only conditionally, although it is with the bright red ("Crimson Red"), already somewhat "louder", but due to the really very nice and pleasant proportions, coupled with a classic design, which nevertheless does not necessarily remind of a "homage", the Spence is def. not a test - it`s more another and imho better option to a Seiko in this price range.
Probably the most special thing about the watch is the 300m WR with a height of only 10.9mm.

It`s a "win" for the Spence :P
What else can be said about the watch - for the price range, the Dial is wonderfully done, also nice hands have been chosen.
42mm diameter, it runs my Miyota 9. Movement, which I find better than the classic Seiko NH 35A which is often used by microbrands.
It comes with AR sapphire crystal and reads very well in any light and is super photogenic !
The case is completely ok and is one of the better ones in the price range, the bezel also sounds neat and can be turned well.
The Bracelet - I am an absolute Bracelet fetishist, which is why I love the Submariner and the Pelagos so much.
That's exactly why I always have a hard time with bracelets from budget watches.
Fitted to the wrist, the bracelet of the Spence sits well and you can definitely wear it, but luckily the watch also comes with another strap.
I prefer to wear the budget watches on the Perlon/Nato/Rubber.
I'm happy about the Spence and will definitely take it again on upcoming vacations.

The bracelet is good - no rattle. It's super in comparison to others in this price range.
Just when you wear the Rolex Bracelet often, it's difficult to feel comfy with another bracelet :p
