Watch Collection part 5, Leijona Järwi Shallow Waters

My fifth watch, The Leijona Järwi was given to me as an 18th birthday gift last summer shortly after the release of this model series. Leijona has recently started to embrace its own history by releasing actually interesting watches instead of generic fashion watches. This watch houses a common and standard Miyota 8215 but for the price it's a good choice. Sapphire glass and a 200 meter water resistance paired with a quality bracelet and nice finishing make this watch a bargain for the price. The design is very conservative but appealing and the dark green dial pops in sunlight.

This watch has sentimental value because it was given to me by my parents and I have taken it around the world and made memories with it. The pictures are from some of my trips with this watch including Rhodes and Puerto Rico. Inspired by the name "järwi" which means lake, this watch has also been my companion to summer cottage trips around Finland.
