Hamilton Jazzmaster Openheart or a Map of New Zealand ?

My Kiwi brothers will kill me for this, but everytime I see this Jazzmaster Openheart all I see is New Zealand. Even the jewel under the 12 is close enough that it could have represented the city of Hamilton.

With a few tweaks Hamilton could have pulled off the correct map of NZ along with jewel placement for their namesake.

The black dial could even be a tribute to the All Blacks. Maybe when that Tudor sponsorship is over Hamilton can take over the mantle.

Are there any watches out there that you immediately associate with something else when you see it?

If it’s true, that is pretty cool - and one of the most original designs I’ve seen!

Well spotted!

I think they opened the chest so you can see the heart, liver and the spleen. Any more and they can remove the dial.
