Concert watch (55 minutes until show time)

What do you wear to an outdoor concert? Something that can be thrashed and bumped and Indiglo is a plus.

Warm night, low humidity, the Timex told me it was time to rock.

Do you realize that you have the most beautiful face?

Which won't help you with those evil natured robots who are programed to destroy us.

You have to strong to fight them, so take your vitamins.

When my son was 10 and just into playing guitar I took him to see the Flaming Lips. I used to drive him to nursery school listening to the Soft Bulletin. He re-payed the favor tonight fourteen years later. They have been at it for 30 years and it was a great show.

The Timex Weekender was the perfect concert watch.

Never go wrong with Flaming lips, we had a stray we rescued name Yoshimi.  Whatever watch you are wearing at the time is the right watch.

Love the watch choice and the rock.

Good choice! My choice is Apple Watch. You can locate your phone if it gets lost and vice versa, text friends who are lost in the crowd without getting your phone out, ask for direction back to your car and if someone knocks you over it can call emergency services from its fall detection feature, waterproof from all the sweat from people around you jumping out of sync.

never been in a concert but i guess dont wear an expensive watch, a g shock or a field watch would be perfect for this occasion

I tend to wear the GAS-100 to more laid back shows and the 6900 to rowdier concerts.

Looks like you had an amazing time and the Timex was a great choice 👌

From my collection I'd go with my Casio.

I saw the Killers in the Summer. My watch choice was the khaki field mechanical.Did the job!

Is that a vintage Timex? 😂

I'm a punk and metal guy who goes to a lot of gigs and still likes to jump in the pit, so any gig watch I wear has to be able to withstand lots of heavy bumps, possible falls, getting soaked with beer etc.

My go to gig watch for years was my F91W which is strangely indestructible, but now I always wear my CWC SBS diver, because of the fixed lugs. So far it's survived pretty gnarly pits for Discharge, Mayhem and Malevolent Creation (and a bunch of support bands) and still looks brand new!

·

I’d be much more concerned with which earplugs to bring. But, this has become my go-to beater watch for things like this, when I don’t want to wear a G-Shock.

All depends on the band or music. but anything that illuminates!!
