A little education
This is an amazing hobby but yet a very expensive hobby, I believe a little education goes a long way, Let's educate ourselves on what we're purchasing Because our hobby demands Serious amount of money.

I think you're mostly right. For the majority of the hobby, there are countless ways to be relieved of large quantities of money. But there is also a huge amount of fun that can be had from the budget end of things - Casio, Seiko, Citizen, Vostok etc. Then there's the modding of watches that can dramatically increase the spec and personalise them - something that you can do incrementally when money becomes available.
It certainly does with the watches you have anyway ;-)
