I am looking to buy this Longines Zulu... Would like to know from any owners about the experience with this watch.. This will be the first GMT in my collection.. I have a 7.1 inch wrist..
Great watch with a good chronometer grade movement for the price. The finishing is excellent.
I would personally go try it on in person, it's a large watch. 42mm and 49mm lug to lug, so try it on in person since 7 inch wrist would be borderline fine
I want to own it, but I don't. I have tried it on. It's too big on my 6.75" wrist. I can sometimes get away with a 42mm watch, but not this one. Not only is it big, it's thick, has long lugs, and wears like a slab. It's very flat, curves down very little, so it doesn't wear comfortably, and there's a big gap under the lugs above my wrist, and I have a fairly flat wrist. I've only tried it on a strap, but I suspect that the bracelet would be worse, since it has male end links. I've tried it multiple times, since I really want to like it, but I'm going to have to wait and hope that they release a smaller version.

I would have preferred a 40" too.. Will be trying in person this week before buying
My wrist measurement is about the same as yours. I wear this watch almost every day and often even sleep with it on.
I bought mine on the bracelet, but it wasn’t very comfortable when it was hot so I started experimenting with straps. For a while I wore it on a nice suede strap paired with a roller deployant clasp from strapco. Then I got a micro adjust deployant clasp from Formex. Being able to adjust it on the fly is awesome. Finally I paid the considerable cost to get the official strap and clasp combination and haven’t changed it since.

I switched mine to a strap too.. Feel it looks way better than on the bracelet plus wears more comfortable too

I really like mine, on the leather strap. It fits nicely on my 6.5” wrist and I like the microadjust.
I like mine. I wear it often. I have a 6.25" wrist btw.
Great watch. No problems with mine so far.

I'm glad it was useful. Not the thing I usually show up in Google searches for (not bad, just not my primary work). Enjoy the journey!
