Someone say Flieger Friday?
Trigger warning: Faux Patina. Lots.
Perhaps the only novelty watch in my collection and I cannot say I wear it a lot, but I have a soft spot for fliegers and to me, this one is fun.
This is the Laco Rad-Aux, which was a colab between ABlogToWatch and Laco to create a Fallout inspired Laco. All things I like. They used a Laco Erbstück as the starting point and incorporated facets of the game into the watch. I was able to grab this new for about 1/2 the original price, which seemed fair value-wise. The original strap and bund were a little too on the nose for me, so I grabbed a custom piece to compliment it.
I know it is not to everyone's taste, but it's a nice reminder to not take this hobby too seriously.

I understand not wearing it everyday, but it has to be in the rotation. The bones of the watch are great and the novelty and strap add to it.
The only problem that I can see is that the watch is difficult to accessorize. It is hard to find a leather bomber jacket that you can wear to work and the gym.

It’s definitely gets worn, just not as often as others. hard To wear with work outfits, for certain, but dressing down? No problem.
The fleiger with vintage leather really looks cool. I am digging black watches at the moment. Pvd or dlc and I'm captured.
We got a Fallout watch now? Excuse me while I go curse at not having moolah on demand.

@TalkingDugong and @Fieldwalker it was a quiet release from about 4 years ago. They made 143 of them and for a while could not sell them. I picked mine up for almost 50% off, which is a deal for a regular Laco Erbstuck, never mind a limited edition. The strap it came with was cool, but I found a sweet ammo strap that matches the aesthetic.
If looking for one, set your eBay alerts, they come up sometimes, but they seem to sell for $2000, which is on the higher side.
