Last year a new Japanese start-up, Namica, made the rounds by dropping their upcoming watch on every outlet that would review it. Jody was one of a few Youtubers that featured it. I had been on the lookout for a purple dial and this one was intriguing given the unique colorway and design.
At the time, I put it back of my mind because I refuse to fund any Kickstarter from any brand or artist I do not know. I figured I would eventually be able to grab it on ebay for cost, if not less, which is exactly what happened last week.

Overall, a unique and inexpensive watch that is a good first step into a sea of bargain upstarts.
Watch enthusiast who insists on the next watch being the last.
If it was 9015 powered with a date I'd likely have one.
I hate extra thickness for an inferior movement, and I hate no date... if brands want me to part with hundreds of dollars, I have expectations.
Oh my god the lume 🤩!
Very nice watch indeed 👍

That’s funny. If given the option, I will always go no date.
Upgraded.
I had the white and blue dials in for review…really dig this watch!

Awesome! Both of those are cool, but I have enough blue and white watches, so the purple stood out. That purple Van Banner you posted also looks nice.
Absolutely…the purple Neo Tokyo is awesome! Yes, I love that purple VanBanner AO!!!
Purple!!
the color of 2023!!
I just declared that in a different thread about a purple presage, but see it applies here as well. Nice looking watch 🤘
