Team Monta!!!

·

Monta for sure!

·

Formex is best

·

After owning a Monta that sometimes runs slower than 10spd, my vote is for the Formex for offering COSC-certified movements for hundreds of dollars less.

·

If this is based on overall finishing and Especially bracelet quality, Monta would absolutely destroy

·

Epic battle

·

I thought Monta would win hands down😮!!!

·

Having handled both, I chose with my wallet and bought the Monta. I think the Formex is a quality product but the Monta’s finishing wins hands down. I also prefer the traditional styling of a Monta to the forward, more modern look of a a Formex.

Monta is great.. but Formex bang for your buck is incredible. Then you throw in the customization with the snap off bezels and it’s just no contest. For me.

·

Formex is just great

·

I’ve handled Monta watches and they’re nice but boring looking and didn’t have the accuracy I wanted. Just got a Formex Leggera and it’s really on the level of my Zenith watches in materials/finishing/looks with the best accuracy I’ve ever seen (+0.2 seconds/day).

·

Formex every time! Best value for money combined with cutting edge style.

·

My money is on Formex. Great engineering and design. Unbeatable at that price point imo

·

Great Timepice with exclusive materials, own disign at rasonable price...great costumer service....love my essence leggera..

·

Formex all the way

i’d like to own one to know definitively, but i own 6 formex and have owned i think over 10, they are incredibly compelling. the gold leggera model is the most beautiful and comfortable watch i’ve owned beating out a rolex blnr, longines master collection triple calendar, speedmaster racing and many many more. and the silver Reef on rubber and black ceramic bezel is highly underrated

·

Formex for the win! Not close!

·

Both great Microbrands. It definitely depends on taste. However, I'll vote for the Formex. They add so much innovation and individuality to their designs and they are just plain classy as well as sporty and tooltastic!

I have the same watch. If I'm not wearing it, I start to miss it.

Have you considered sending it to them for adjusting? It shouldn't be that way.

They are both great brands and I've owned them both but Monta creates the better product. Obviously, from the results, there are a lot of people voting that have yet to own a Monta. I imagine that will change in the years to come. If this tournament bracket was drawn up with actual seeding, instead of randomly, these two should have met each other much deeper in the tournament.

I agree. I feel the same way. The Omega Aqua Terra is still the "go to" watch in my collection, but this Monta is now solidly in second.

That’s the challenge right? I think if either one was on the other side they could have gone deeper, but trying to seed is tough. I thought about seeding based on overall tags. Perhaps next year.

Poll closed for this matchup. Congratulations to Formex.

I’m currently deployed overseas, but I’ve considered sending it in when I get home.

·

Thank you guys!

Team Formex. Innovative and great design. I do like Monta and this watch is very classic, but I'm pulling for Formex on this one!
