What's the deal with AnOrdain? Ming beat Dornbluth, Dornbluth decimated Landis Bleus, who happen to make rather sophisticated enamel dials as well, but AnOrdain beats Ming. Interesting....

Yeah, trying to find logic in these brackets is beyond this organizer's take. My guess...AnOrdain started this with $1000 watches that were objectively underpriced given the complexity of the dial. They are also a pretty small brand and the owners are very active in the watch community. I have both of these brands and each were excellent to deal with, though I would give the nod to the Scots for their service. I think for most, AnOrdain still represents that obtainable artisan dial whereas many others in this tournament I love, like the ones mentioned, are more obscure and slightly more expensive. I think if Lundis Bleus or Sartory Billard had the social media/market presence of AnOrdain, there may be different results. All are excellent, but again, trying to figure out how folks vote is an art.

I wouldve picked AnOrdain if they would have given me some sort of an update on where I am after being on the wishlist for over year... am a month away, five months... 2025?

At this point I doubt I buy one even if offered. Hell, my studio underd0g order gives me updates on my 9+ month wait and they cost much less

Yeah, I have heard that. I know some get updates as their window opens, but when it opens? Good question.

Poll closed for this matchup. Congratulations to AnOrdain.
