This is the classic Sea-Gull ST5 (ST5a - no date), produced as Tianjin Sea-Gull's (and China's) first export watch, following the unstriped ST5 watches produced under Dongfeng (East Wind) branding (with Dongfeng 东风 characters stamped into the wheel bridge where 19 zuan ST5 is stamped on this model).
Permission to export was received in 1973.
Note also the dust cover and Sea-Gull branded bracelet.
