Reno's incredible "circa 1970" Yema Meangraf

These three are all Reno's skilled photos...

Even having developed most of my collection in other directions, if there is one watch in the world outside my usual preference that makes me wildly jealous, it's this, Reno's 1970s Meangraf.

It hits my eyes as a fascinating hybrid of southwest design and racing/dive iconography. I love it. I think it's wildly original and beautifully realized. I dream about a re-issue.

The thing is a strap monster, too. The link goes to pretty much an entire page of the watch on different straps, and they all work (movement shots in the thread, too)

I just wouldn't want any watch lover to miss seeing this.

Reno, my huge respects and warm regards!

I can definitely see why you love these watches, their stunning and very unique looking.

Thank you for sharing, it's one I've never seen before 🙏

Wow - now that’s a fun asymmetric dial design with those cutting diagonal lines. I really dig the diamond register. I didn’t get Southwest design immediately until you mentioned it, it actually reminds me a bit of cycling jerseys. Very cool and thanks for sharing!

is this just me or the hands looks like darth maul lightsaber?

As they say, you don't see THAT every day. Another unique piece in a stellar collection.

Just to be clear: that's Reno's watch, not mine--but his collection is stellar.

I actually like this much better than the recent Meangraf re-issue.
